Queensland, Australia. Simply, remarkable. The opportunity to travel to such wondrous places is never lost on us. For 2 weeks we traversed stunning landscapes with our partners from Siemens Healthineers to help tell the story of the Queensland Healthcare System, the 2nd largest in the country. The focus was on Siemens’ innovative medical technology and data digitalization, and how it affords Queensland the unique ability to reach their massive network of clinics and affiliates spread across expansive territories and remote regions where transmission of medical information can take hours and sometimes days. Siemens Healthineers point-of-care testing delivers live results, which depending on the circumstance, has a substantial impact on a patient’s diagnosis and treatment efficacy. The resulting video revealed just how integral these connections are in sustaining life-saving outcomes. It wasn’t all work. We visited a kangaroo sanctuary and even spent some quality time with some devastating adorable marsupials at a Koala zoo. It was ace!
